Providing Everything You Need To Create Your Own Dimensional Lumber
Free Pickup
We pickup your cut logs, free of charge, at your location (within a 50 km radius of our location: near QEW and Highway 427.
Free pick-up is limited to maximum log diameter of 22 inches and up to 10 feet in length. Delivery has no size limitations.)
If you choose to deliver your logs you can wait onsite or pick-up later.
Currently our sawmill can process logs up to 30 inches in diameter and 12 ft in length.
Mill Your Lumber
Milling your own lumber is a great way to ensure that you have high-quality, straight, and stable wood for your building projects.
The cost of milling is a minimum of $65 for the first half hour or $125 per hour. Obviously the weight and length of your log will determine how long it takes to mill but it is safe to assume a rate of 100 BDFT/hour.
The advantage of milling your own lumber is that you have control over the quality of the wood, can choose the species and size of the boards, and can save money compared to purchasing pre-milled lumber. Additionally, milling your own lumber is a sustainable practice as it allows you to use wood from a specific tree rather than clear cutting a forest.
Hint: if you pre-mark the cuts on your log it can substantially cut down on milling time .

We also offer a place to slow-dry your wood for you, should you not have the space available.
